Paul Pearce works as the Director of Account Management for the Healthcare Management division of Magellan Medicaid Administration of Glen Allen, VA. This company helps state Medicaid programs manage utilization, monitor the quality of care and improve performance of the Medicaid system.
He has over 10 years of experience as a provider of behavioral health care services to children and familes. For the past 12 years he has worked as an administrator of managed care programs for state Medicaid programs across the United States.
Mr. Pearce received a B.A. (Communications - College of Arts and Science) in 1986 and M.Ed. (Human Development Counseling - Peabody College) in 1992 from Vanderbilt University.
He holds professional licensure with the State of Tennessee (Licensed Professioanl Counselor with MHSP designation) and certification through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC).
Currently, he volunteers for Commonwealth Parenting Center of Richmond VA to provide parent training to expectant and new fathers.
Mr. Pearce is married to Elizabeth and is the father of three daughters. He spends much of his free time playing guitar and writing music.
