Towards the end of 2007 and after the replacement of Mike Nelson with bassist Mark Tupko, The Deaves went back into the studio to start recording the follow-up to Wired. Recorded at Detached Sound by Pedro Aida in Richmond, the band completed 5 songs which were to be part of a 12 song record entitled 'Love and Death in Happyville'. Before any more work could be done on that project, Aaron announced his retirement from playing drums and left the band.
One song from that session, Monday Night, is featured here.
